Line Assist

    Hallo! Mein line assistent ist on, off! Zb. Ich fahre auf Landestrasse und alles funkzioniert gut nach 5 minuten, das Auto erkent nicht mehr Fahrbahnlinien! Ich bin in Kroatien, aber spreche von gut markierten Strassen! Auf Autobahn alles ok! Keine Fehler gemeldet!!

    Well, in that case I'd try to disconnect the battery for round about 30min. If I remember correctly, a comparable issue could be solved in this way. Which app did you use to read out the fault codes?

    Did not read them, there is no message for any foults! As i wrote sometimes it works perfect and 10min later it does not!!

    Try the suggested workflow I mentioned, in some cases that helped. If not, you should get in touch with your dealership ;)

    It is always on, and i just came from Autobahn on local road and it stops working! This has hapend more that ones! I wil ask in BMW service if thay can check that!!

    That is strange, because if the system can't work properly due to bad lines or visibility or whatever, the steering in display goes to yellow and sings that it gives the responsibility to driver.

    On video there is green light (simbol) in the left up corner! When working properly and i tuches a line it blinks and stays green! In this case it does not blink, stays green and system goes off! As i say, there is no logical patern, sometime it works, sometime it does not!!

    Right now I get it. I was wrong and thought it's about guiding function, but you mean assist function (as you wrote) My fault.

    The Line Assist is working only above 70 km/h. So that behaviour is normal.
